Bregenz is the regional capital of Vorarlberg, where three countries meet: Germany (10 km), Austria and Switzerland (15 km), with the Pfänder mountain behind you and Lake Constance at your feet.
The Schwärzler is situated at the foot of the recreational area of the Gebhard mountain, near the meadows of Bregenzerach, 20 minutes' walk from the pedestrian zone (a bus leaves every 15 minutes from the bus stop next to the hotel).
Revitalise yourself with fresh air on traffic-free paths from the hotel on foot or by bike (can be hired from the hotel). Go diving in the light-filled pavilion with the indoor pool, sweat it out in the sauna, take a purification session in the steam bath, get a tan in the solarium or let off steam in the fitness area.
